Survival day
On the 2end day E.O.T.C week we trained for

Earthquakes, first aid kit, what to do when we are lost in space.
In Whaea Bex’s is class where learning about first aid kits when to use them and how to use them. I liked when Me and patrick got to demonstrate how to use a first aid kit.

Monday at the lagoon

Aotea lagoon
On Monday all of Pohutukawa when to Aotea lagoon for E.O.T.C week the first day we played for 3 and a half hours it was fun a little bit we played games like tiger war but the boring part was that I dropped my hat in the bin.
Then I used my brothers hat play because he wanted to play in the shade then everyone walked up to school and no one was tired when we got to school.
When there I got play vortex with my friends and we did a competition I came 1st  Kupa came 2end.
Then we walked up to school and again no one was tired.
But my favorite part was when I played vortex with my friend Kupa.

Early maori

Early maori
                       What is technology
-meets a need/problem
-invention by design
Practical resources/materials
-innovation and adaption
Great ideas       changes

Last week with whea Toni we learnt about early maoris technology.
In the early māori days they have to make their own clothes out of animal's skin.
They didn't have money to go to the shop and buy things they had to make everything out of nature. They could make their shoes in 5 mins and they made it  out of a cabbage trees they used to cut chiefs heads of as a trophy and. they traded the heads to the white people
So they can get some food from the maori they traveled on foot from hamilton to Porirua through the buses when traveling they killed moas. Moas were 4m tall they used their skin to wear and would eat the rest it would take 2 weeks for aus  to eat the whole thing but know their are no more moas. Moa leveled up until dinosaurs. every time they would stop to go the bathroom the would dig a long haul and they would make a bonfire to keep them warm at night they would use certain rocks and  stick other whys is will not work every time they would travel there shoes would break they could make another pair in under  10 mins but for as it would take a day. Back in the early maori days it was easy for them to make things.

     weightlifting man
Weightlifting
Last term room 9 made same awesome silhouettes for the olympics.
I will be going thru all the steps how to make a silhouette

Step 1: find a silhouette on the internet that is apart of the olympics.
Step 2: print out the silhouette then cut it out in tall all of the white is gone
Step 3: then find a A3 piece of paper and then rall a square in the medal like an A4 piece of paper.
Step 4: do some squiggly lines in the medal of the paper the colour inside of the lines with crayons.
Step 5: rip up white and black pieces of paper then mix with sticky glue then stick on the side of the A3 piece of paper.
Step 6: get a big book and inside rall a line the size of a skinny raller then right olympics in the top rectangle and then right the sport of your silhouette in the bottom rectangle.
Last step: copy step 6 on to the white and black pieces of paper and you can do it.
You can do it portray or landscape.
